Jan 25th

I am out of the building this morning but will return by the end of class.

If you have a camera checked out (and you know who you are) get it back into the cabinet today.  I will be checking them in last period.  If you want to check it out again, see me by the end of the day.

Activity 1: If you have winter photos to process, go ahead and get them into iPhoto.  You can select your favorites and edit them.  Look back at the photos from the gallery.  They should be good inspiration.

Activity 2:  Keep working on your Self-portrait Mosaic.  Clippy, clippy, glue, glue.  Remember, to eat a mountain of Cheese you have to take little bites each day.  So keep eating.

Pop Art Poster

Most of us remember the Obama Hope poster from a few years ago.  This is a great example of POP ART.  Notice how the artist cut the image down into five levels, smoothed them and recolored them for the iconic effect.

We can do a similar effect with other figures.  Who might you posterize?  What word might you place underneath?

FOLLOW THIS LINK and look at other examples based on this poster.  Brandon!  There is even a Luke Skywalker one!

Follow this ten minute tutorial and make your own poster!
