The Lamp

Once there was a lamp

back in its younger days it could have held a genie that could grant three wishes,

maybe it could have been used to help Harriet Tubman get the slaves to freedom.

It could have been used to light the rat tunnels for U.S. soldiers.

It could have been a peace sign between England and France.

It could been a mans prized possession.

It could have started the Chicago fires.

It was probably the lamp that led the way to Shambala.

Or it could have been an ordinary lamp, I don’t know.
