Big Stuff Today

 Due TODAY, MARCH 18th.

Read the article on pricing and selling photos. 

ASIGNMENT 2-  Come up with a word no more than 5 letters that you use in an ALPHABET PHOTO.  Write it down on a piece of paper and start looking for your letters in the world around you. 

DO THIS WITH POINT AND SHOOT CAMERAS.  Your own digital cameras are perfect for this assignment.  If you need to check out a school point and shoot, just let me know today.  We are having a battery shortage but I will do what I can.

SHOOT THESE TODAY AND OVER THE WEEKEND.  WE WILL WORK WITH THEM ON MONDAY!!!!  

LOOK HERE FOR IDEAS.

ALSO, TODAY:  BE SURE TO SHARE YOUR BUSINESS FOLDER IN PICASSA WITH ME.  I WILL TRY TO PRINT THEM ALL OFF TODAY SO WE CAN FOLD THEM TOMORROW.

Watch the video linked above.  Think about why these images are so amazing.  It's not just the subject matter, but the way they are shot.  Look at angles, lines, etc. 

Write a three sentence reaction to the video.  What does his work say about photography?  What can photography say about the world?  How does the video inspire you? 

What can you shoot in the world around you that has the same effect as the work seen in the video?
