There is something amazingly poetic about an object in the state of decomposition, moving from new and wanted, to discarded and useless-- left behind. In this project, we will locate those items and capture them through the lens of our cameras. Then bring them back, edit them, and tell the story of the USED.
ASSIGNMENT
Find something that is old, antique, aging, or decaying that catches your attention. It could be...
* An old house * A rusting old car * A junkyard * An old falling-down swing * Something else?
Take 25 photos of this subject from different angles, different perspective and different views. Think about what sort of story you are telling with your photos.
Remember, you are taking digital photos so don’t be afraid to shoot lots of shots. Digital photos are free.
Have the images uploaded to your I-Photo folder or on your USB flashdrive by Wednesday, Sept. 28th.
We will edit these, write poems about them, and share them with the world.
When you have a pretty good idea of what you want to shoot, tell us by adding a comment to this POST.

ReplyDeleteI will see if there is something at my grandma's, but I don't know what specifically.
ReplyDeleteI got this old car that was junked at my grandma's house. I wonder if anybody left anything valuable in there...
ReplyDeleteI want to find something that is lonely looking or abandoned.
ReplyDeleteI think I will do it over something at Vennard Colloge. They have an old, run-down music building. Or something in their cemetery. If I can't do that, I will find something at mi casa!
ReplyDeleteI can take pictures of Jon's (the lake owner of the lake my dad lives at) old vehicles and stuff he has laying around.
